manuals, and How do I use my computer’s Q&A feature? To find information about the
specific topic, just click on it now.

When you want more in-depth information about your
computer system, you can look in your electronic
manuals, located on the bookshelves.
|
|
Depending on the type of question, click on the
appropriate bookshelf category to find the answer.
|
|
Then click on the book you want to open.
|
|
Each manual is structured to convey its information
clearly.
|
|
Text that is highlighted or appears in a different
color gives an instant link to other related
information, either in the same book or another
one.
|
|
Just click the highlighted text. The information
appears so you can read it without leaving your
book.
|
|
This is where you can connect to the Internet, either
directly or through Planet Oasis, which represents
the best the Internet has to offer.
|
|
You can explore the thousands of exciting places
on the World Wide Web,
|
|
Share information and opinions on a variety of
newsgroup topics,
|
|
and send and receive e-mail.
|
|
To access the Internet, simply click on either the
Planet Oasis or the Internet icon.
|
|
From the Info Room, you can also connect to on-line
services.
|
|
With an on-line service, you can send and receive
e-mail, get stock quotes, travel information, movie
reviews, encyclopedias, and much more.
|
|
To see which online services you have access to,
just click on them.
|
|
You’ve just learned about the many resources available to you in the Info Room:
the tutorials, the electronic manuals, and the system Q&A feature. If you want to review
a topic, just click on one of the bulleted points on the overview panel. Or you can return
to the Gallery Wall by clicking on its icon on the control panel.
