Packard Bell: Bringing Technology Home

Welcome to Packard Bell’s Navigator, the fun and easy computing environment that lets you access and manage the functions of your computer... all from the comfort and ease of a home environment.

The Navigator experience starts in the Living Room, where you have access to all the special places in the Home: the Info Room, Software Library, WorkSpace, KidSpace, and MySpace.

The Living Room also holds all the Home Electronics that expand your computer into a phone, fax, stereo or other multimedia function.

The Living Room also contains a “Software Library” where you can access all the different software programs that came with your computer.

The Info Room is Navigator’s information and communications center. This is where you’ll find the “Tutorial Gallery”: a set of mini-lessons that explain how to use your computer’s features.

The Info Room contains electronics manuals for the applications and hardware that came with the computer.

This is also where you can access online services such as America Online, CompuServe, Prodigy, the Internet, and special World Wide Web sites.

There are other rooms in Navigator as well... Workspace provides a great place to organize your documents and other files.

KidSpace gives kids of all ages a secure place to play and work and to call their very own.

MySpace is a great place for older kids to access all the great features and programs available on your Packard Bell Computer.

No matter what room or place you’re in, the Navigator toolbar is always visible at the top of the screen. You use the toolbar to move around and to access additional tools and features of Navigator.

To get the whole story on Navigator, we suggest you take the time to view our Getting Started Tutorial in the Info Room.

Or you can learn about Navigator simply by exploring. We’ve designed it like your own home, to be easy to understand, comfortable and fun to spend time discovering. So have fun. Try out new things and begin enjoying the world of Packard Bell Navigator.
