Two posters trying to tackle the eternal problem: why is Windows’ mouse pointer white and Mac OS’s black?

Good vs. evil? Since 1983’s Lisa, Apple has been using a black mouse pointer (with contrasting outline), as opposed to Microsoft’s white one. Which one is your favourite?
